The place looked like a rainbow with the carpet of different flowers and got lost in the heart-stirring beauty and named this place as “Gulmarg” (The meadow of flowers). It was when he heard a song in a very melodious voice of an incredibly captivating beauty named Zoon [Kashmiri name for Moon] coming from the meadows and fell in love with her. Though already married, Zoon eloped with Yusuf. They spent warm nights on haystacks under the moon. Zoon became Habba Khatoon [Lady Love] to the king of Kashmir, thus, making their love eternal and immortal.)
