Day 1: To Delhi

Departure from your home country for Delhi.

Day 2: Arrive in Delhi

Arrival Delhi and then on you will be greeted at the airport and taken to your hotel, Shangri La Eros. After some rest, you will embark on an afternoon city tour of Old Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi

Today morning you will enjoy a city tour of New Delhi. The afternoon will be at leisure.

Day 4. To Varanasi

You will be transferred to the airport to board your flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel, Taj Gateway. In the evening, you will be taken through the sacred city to witness the breathtaking and humbling riverside prayers, known as ‘aarti’ in Hindi, which have taken place every single day for decades.

Day 5. Varanasi

Enjoy a sublime boat ride at dawn on the river Ganges. You will experience the worshippers’ early morning rituals on the banks while the sun rises over the undulating waters. Later in the day you will visit Sarnath, (12 Kms from Varanasi) that has the 2,000 years old Buddhist Stupa and the Deer park where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after enlightenment.

Day 6. To Khajuraho

Transfer to the airport to board your flight to Khajuraho. In the afternoon, you will head out to discover and explore the ancient complex of the UNESCO World Heritage listed temples, which are known for their erotic rock sculptures. Overnight at the hotel Taj Chandella.

Day 7. Khajuraho – Orchha

In the morning you will make another visit to the Temples. You will then be driven to the riverside town of Orchha. Overnight at the hotel Amar Mahal.

Day 8. Orchha – Agra

In the morning embark on a sightseeing tour of Orchha. A small riverside town in the heart of India, Orchha is dotted with cenotaphs, temples and a magnificent fort, all reminiscent of the 16th century Bundela rule. Later, transfer to Jhansi railway station to board tour train to Agra. Check in at hotel Taj Gateway.

Day 9. Agra

Be mesmerised by a sunrise visit to the iconic Taj Mahal. In the afternoon, enjoy a city tour of Agra including visits to the Agra Fort and the Tomb of Itmud-ud-duala.

Day 10. To Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

After breakfast, you will be driven to Jaipur via the ruined heritage city of Fatehpur Sikri and the fascinating Abhaneri stepwell. Check in at the Shahpura House.

Day 11. Jaipur

In the morning, you will visit the fascinating vegetable and milk markets of Jaipur and then head to the majestic hilltop Fort of Amer. In the afternoon, enjoy an afternoon city tour.

Day 12. On the final day

Departure for your home country.
