Day 01 - Arrival Srinagar

On arrival at Srinagar airport, our office representative will meet and greet you outside the airport terminal building, and transfer you to "Houseboat Wangnoo Heritage" for 2 nights.

(Srinagar, bewitches not only the tourists who visit here but every person who shares this beautiful land. It is called the city of lakes and the Venice of the East with snow laden great Himalayan Mountains all around. In the lap of these mountains lie the glittering lakes that are surrounded by houseboat and Shikaras and the majesty of Mughal architecture. Spread on both sides of the river Jhelum the city is famous for its natural beauty, gardens, waterfronts and houseboats. The very absence of order in the location of the houses and their tumbled down appearance add a peculiar charm to the scenery. It has its own quaint lifestyle, telling a panoramic fairy-tale tour through the snow-capped mountains and Chinar trees, while enjoying the adventurous pleasures of hiking, mountain biking, and rafting. The city is also famous for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts and dried fruit.)

In the afternoon, experience the shikara ride to "Char Chinar" with your loved one while rowing heart-shaped pedals, soaking up the beauty of Zabarwan hills with your favourite music and sipping a warm cup of Kashmiri tea- Kehwa with our compliments.

Day 02 - Srinagar Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, leave for the sightseeing to "Dachigam National Park".

Every wildlife and nature lover's dream destination, the Dachigam National Park is quite famous for its fiery autumn display.

During October, fall foliage is at its peak, and you can find yourself amidst the beautiful fall hues of gold, orange and red. Apple, walnut, wild cherry, oak, chestnut, chinar, pine and are some of the trees in this area, making it an exciting place to visit as the leaves change.

You can simply take a walk down the jungle trails and explore all the outdoor fun this place offers. Listening to the chorus of the crickets and breathing in the autumnal freshness that lingers in the air truly creates a lasting impact on the mind.

From ancient trees to birds, beetles, grasses, wildflowers and Hangul (Kashmiri stag), Dachigam National Park is one of the best places to flock to during autumn.

After that, proceed to "Nishat bagh" Situated on the eastern shore of Dal Lake near Srinagar, Nishat Bagh is renowned as the second largest Mughal Garden in the Kashmir Valley. Translating to “Garden of Bliss” in Urdu, Nishat Bagh offers a panoramic view of the lake framed by the backdrop of the Zabarwan Mountains and the snow-capped Pir Panjal mountains in the distance. Central to Nishat Bagh’s charm is its central water channel, flowing gracefully through the terraces. The water cascades over stepped stone ramps, creating a mesmerizing sparkle as it moves from terrace to terrace. Each terrace features fountains adorned with pools, inviting visitors to pause and Savor the garden’s beauty. Persian lilacs and pansies bloom abundantly, their colours enhanced by the cascading water and the autumn sunlight.

Later in the evening you may wish to visit the Naseem bagh, located on the western banks of the Dal Lake, Naseem Bagh at the campus of Kashmir University has become a favourite spot for autumn lovers in Kashmir.

This picture-perfect garden, nestled in thousands of chinar trees, is surely one of the most serene spots. Nothing compares to the splendour of this location in the season of fall.

Walking down the lawns and even streets give the sound of rustling over the dry colourful chinar leaves. It produces a mesmerizing ambience that lasts in the mind for very long. The green buildings in the backdrop go well with the red brown autumnal setting and are a true treat for the eyes! B&D

Day 03 - Pahalgam

After breakfast, checkout hotel and drive to Pahalgam.

Enroute visit "Avantipora ruins" and "Saffron Fields". Avantipora ruins are number of ancient Hindu temples built by King Avantivarman (A.D 855-883). In Kashmir, saffron is grown in a small town of Pampore. Pampore, also known as the Saffron Town Flower of Kashmir, is situated at a distance of 14 km south of Srinagar. It is very popular for saffron cultivation due to its ideal weather conditions and soil.

A walk amidst these flowers is certainly a beautiful experience. The fields, no doubt, look beautiful during the day time especially in the autumn season, the fields of Pampore are turned into a vibrant sea of purple as the saffron flowers start blooming. A lot of visitors and saffron lovers travel to this town to enjoy its beauty and scenery and to learn more about the delicate process of saffron cultivation.

On arrival in Pahalgam, check into “Royal Hillton” for 1-night stay

In the later evening, enjoy a walk near the Lidder River bank; take a stroll around and chuck few pebbles in the river at the Lidder View Park, right in the centre of town.

Day 04 - Pahalgam Sightseeing and drive back to Srinagar

After leisurely breakfast, drive to famous Aru valley, the autumn season (September to November) is the most beautiful time to visit Aru Valley, as the weather is cool and crisp, and the valley is adorned with golden and red hues and Betab Valley which offer a different charm with the foliage turning into breathtaking hues of gold, amber, and red, marking the onset of autumn.

After sightseeing drive back to srinagar and check in Hotel "Dewan by Royal Naqash" for 02 nights.

In the evening proceed to visit the Pari Mahal. Autumn brings dramatic changes to the Pari Mahal as the area turns into a magical scene filled with shades of yellow and orange, offering a spectacular view to behold.

Pari mahal, also known as the abode of fairies, is adorned with a seven-terraced garden that has a variety of flowering plants, trees, and shrubs that beautifully turn orange in autumn. The golden hues of the leaves enhance the beauty of the garden and turn it into a mesmerizing sight to cherish.

In addition to the attractive sand brown stone of the mahal, autumn only accentuates its beauty and adds depth to the architecture.

Day 05 - Heritage Tour of Srinagar City

After leisurely breakfast, visit the famous Shankaracharya temple and offer your prayers.

(The Shankaracharya hill and the temple is a hallmark of the city of Srinagar. It is a very historic hill. It is 5kms away from Srinagar and at the height of 1100m above sea level. The peak of the hill always makes a picturesque and a magnificent view of the vast Dal Lake, houseboats and surrounding areas from one side and the snow-clad mountains, habitation of the South Kashmir and dense forests from the other sides.)

Later, In the afternoon, leave for the heritage tour of Medieval city of Srinagar visiting famous Mosque Shah-i-Hamdan- situated on the banks of Jhelum in the centre of the city. It is one of the oldest mosques (drive past) built by Sultan Sikander around 1400. The mosque is built on timber and was constructed without any nails. Both frontage and interiors are covered in painted papier-mâché work. It was founded by Persian saint Mir Sayed Ali Hamdani, and it is likely that his retinue introduced Kashmiris to the Persian art of fine carpet- making. Later, visit local market of Jamia Masjid and a light walk through the old city. You may wish to visit Kashmir Government Emporium to look out for carpets, saffron, pashminas, exquisite embroidery, and intricate jewellery.

Day 06 - Departure

After a leisurely breakfast, check-out hotel and drive to Srinagar airport to connect your flight back to home.
