The journey to Mata Vaishno Devi is a spiritual experience that involves trekking up 13km to reach her temple located at an altitude of 5300 feet above sea level while Amarnath cave is situated at an elevation of 12,756 ft and houses a naturally formed ice lingam which symbolizes Lord Shiva. Both places offer breathtaking views along with religious significance making them ideal destinations for your next pilgrimage tour!

Vaishno Devi is one of the most visited pilgrimage centres of India. Every year, millions of devotees visit the temple. During festivals like Navaratri, the footfall increases to as high as one crore. Patnitop is a small hill station between Jammu and Srinagar. It is an ideal place to rest relax and soak up the beautiful scenery in hot summer season. It has India’s highest ropeway for adventure lovers.
Visits to Sanasar Lake, Naag Mandir and Shud Mandir are soul filling experiences here.

Vaishno Devi is one of the most visited pilgrimage centers of India. Every year, millions of devotees visit the temple. During festivals like Navaratri, the footfall increases to as high as one crore. Holy Amarnath Cave is situated at an altitude of 3,888 meters above sea level. This year Amarnath Yatra will commence from first July.

Day 01 - Arrive Jammu by Air / Surface Transport
Transfer from Jammu railway station/ Jammu airport to Katra.
Check in hotel, overnight stay in the Hotel.
Distance From Jammu to Katra: 40 Kms
Travel Time: 2-3 hours (Approx.) D
Day 02 - Katra-Vaishno Devi
After breakfast, leave the hotel to visit the holy temple of Vaishno devi, this temple is situated on a hilltop. To visit temple one has to hire a pony or travel by foot. After visiting the temple, return back to Katra.

Day 03 - Katra-Srinagar
After breakfast, leave for Srinagar driving on Jammu and Kashmir national highway.
You will enjoy the mountain scenery and the landscape. Patni top, Kud and Ramban are few places to rest and soak up the beautiful scenery on way to Kashmir. As soon as you cross Jawar Tunnel green valley of Kashmir opens up with an array of beautiful mountain landscape and deep valleys. Refreshing fresh air will cast a spell on your senses as you travel along beautiful towns and villages of Kashmir valley.
On arrival Srinagar, Check in at the Hotel.

Day 04 - Srinagar-Baltal
After Breakfast, check out Hotel and transfer to Baltal. Baltal is the trekking point for Shri Amaranth Yatra. You will enjoy driving along beautiful paddy fields and river Sindh. Mountain scenery along this road via Sonamarg is stunning. A refreshing stop at Sonamarg – the valley of Gold and then a short drive to Baltal will unfold wonderful rural scenery and high mountain pass of D.Zojila.

Day 05 - Baltal-A day for Amaranth Cave
After Breakfast, Start trekking from Baltal to Holy Cave via Sangam. Darshan of Shri Amaranthji. Return to Baltal in the evening. Overnight stay in tents at Baltal.
Please ensure you are fit to do this journey in one day. The walk will be strenuous at few points- ponies and assistance is available and most people complete Darshan of holy Amarnath cave in one day.
Return to Baltal in the evening. Stay overnight in tented camps (direct payment basis)

Day 06 - Baltal-Srinagar
After Breakfast, Drive to Srinagar from Baltal. Return to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 07 - Departure
After Breakfast, Transfer to Srinagar airport for your onward journey. B

Clothes Needed: For Amarnath Yatra: Light Waterproof Jacket and a Woolen Sweater, Sports Shoes with grip. A woolen cap, glasses and any additional mountain ware which will help you complete the pilgrimage. A light woolen fleece for Vaishno Devi Yatra is recommended.
